We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join our friendly and supportive two-form entry primary school in Hammersmith, West London. This is a full-time, temporary position until July 2025, with the potential for a permanent role in the future. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students in Year 2.
- Ensure students are progressing in line with the national curriculum, supporting them in their learning and development.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to thrive.
- Work collaboratively with the Year 2 team and support staff to create an enriching learning experience.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in a primary school, particularly in Key Stage 1 (desirable).
- Strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to teaching.
- Passion for supporting young learners to reach their full potential.
